About Salis

Salis was raised in New York City and Massachusetts and spent formative years in Los Angeles and South America. She currently resides in Richmond, VA.

She studied portrait and figure painting first in New York at School of Visual Arts and in the studio of portrait painter John Murray, then later at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia.

She studied Illustration at School of Visual Arts and Los Angeles Community College.

She studied art education at Studio Incamminati, where she completed the two-year Teacher Training Program
